Lao Cai holds memorial and burial ceremony for 71 martyrs

On September 30, a ceremony was held in Cam Duong Ward, Lao Cai province, to visit, memorialize, and bury the remains of 71 martyrs. Among the remains, two individuals have been successfully identified, allowing them to return to their families after many years.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, who heads the national steering committee for the search, recovery, and identification of martyr remains, along with various military leaders and local officials. During the event, delegates offered flowers and incense to honor those who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for national independence and protection.
