Laquan Holland charged with sexual assault at Cambridge Planet Fitness

Laquan Holland, 40, has been charged with multiple offenses following an alleged sexual assault at a Planet Fitness in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Prosecutors allege that on October 1, 2026, Holland brought a woman to the Porter Square facility under the pretense of using the showers. Once there, he allegedly struck the woman and attempted to remove her clothing while preventing her from escaping.

A female employee who attempted to intervene was also allegedly sexually assaulted by Holland. Cambridge police responded to the scene shortly after 9 a.m. and arrested Holland inside the building. One victim was transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Holland, who has prior convictions for child rape dating back to 2006, pleaded not guilty to charges including two counts of assault with intent to rape, two counts of indecent assault and battery, kidnapping, and witness intimidation. He is currently being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for October 16.
