L'Aquila Approves €75k Youth Culture Training Project “Immaginare la città”

The municipal council of L'Aquila approved the “Immaginare la città” project, allocating €75,000 to fund training and orientation programmes for young people in audiovisual communication, culture, tourism and event organisation. The initiative, presented by Fondazione Anica Academy, will be part of the city’s programming as Italy’s Capital of Culture in 2026.

Mayor Pierluigi Biondi said the project aims to build lasting professional skills for the territory, strengthen links between schools, universities, cultural institutions and the labour market, and leave a durable legacy beyond the cultural calendar.
