L’Aquila hosts L’Aquila in Scena music festival performances

The L’Aquila in Scena 2026 music festival, part of the Perdonanza celebrations, held various performances across the historic center of L’Aquila on August 27. The evening featured a diverse lineup of artists performing at multiple venues, including the Scalinata di San Bernardino, Piazza Duomo, and Piazza Palazzo Margherita.

In Piazza Duomo, singer-songwriter Matteo Mobrici headlined a free concert that drew large crowds. The performance was preceded by indie-pop project Lingue and Teramo-born singer Lorenzo Dipas. Other notable performances throughout the evening included Ester Cesile and Mattia Kalox at Piazzetta del Sole, as well as various local acts such as Voice Academy and Carpe Diem.
