Larissa hosts Council of Europe ICT language teaching workshop

A two-day experiential training workshop titled ‘Use of ICT in support of language teaching and learning (ICT-REV)’ was held in Larissa on October 1–2, 2026. The event was organized by the Larissa Directorate of Primary Education in collaboration with the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML/CELV) of the Council of Europe and the Directorate of European and International Affairs of the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports.

The workshop aimed to promote the pedagogically based use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and open resources to improve the quality of language teaching and learning in online and blended learning environments. The program focused on providing educators with practical approaches to using digital tools to address modern classroom challenges and leverage new educational opportunities.
