Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to feature Vegueta Market door at Romería del Pino

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will feature the door of the Vegueta Market as the central element of its float during the upcoming Romería-Ofrenda del Pino in Teror. Scheduled for September 7, this participation marks the 74th edition of the traditional pilgrimage.

The Vegueta Market, located on Mendizábal Street, is the city's oldest food market and currently operates 82 stalls. By using the market door as a symbol, the capital aims to highlight its historical identity. Following a draw held in June, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is set to close the procession in the 22nd position.
