Latam adds São Paulo‑Caldas Novas route and restarts Bariloche winter service
Latam inaugurated a new daily route between São Paulo‑Guarulhos and Caldas Novas, Goiás, on 15 July. The Airbus A320‑based service operates at 10:05 a.m. from Guarulhos and returns at 12:20 p.m., with daily flights through the July school‑holiday period and a reduced schedule of four weekly flights thereafter. The airline said the launch “reinforces Latam’s commitment to expand connectivity in Brazil,” adding its 63rd domestic destination and aiming to boost tourism and regional economic development.
At the same time, Latam resumed direct winter flights from São Paulo‑Guarulhos to Bariloche, Argentina. Operated by Airbus A321 aircraft, the service runs daily until 30 August, targeting the peak ski‑season demand. The flights depart at 12:30 p.m. for Bariloche and return at 18:10 p.m., with a capacity of about 220 passengers. Other carriers such as Azul and Aerolíneas Argentinas also offer routes to the Argentine resort.
Both routes are part of Latam’s broader strategy to grow its domestic network in Brazil’s Central‑West and capture seasonal travel demand to popular leisure destinations.
