LATAM Airlines and Embraer sign component support agreement

LATAM Airlines Group and Embraer have signed a strategic partnership through the Embraer Component Pool Program. This agreement is designed to support the operational readiness of LATAM’s upcoming fleet of Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

LATAM has placed a firm order for 24 E195-E2 units, with options to purchase an additional 50 aircraft. The support program will cover more than 300 components across various aircraft systems. Services provided by Embraer include repairs, overhauls, rapid component exchanges, and the placement of spare parts inventory at LATAM’s facilities in Brazil.

Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, stated that the goal is to provide efficient support from day one to ensure high aircraft availability and operational reliability as LATAM executes its growth strategy. The program is intended to help the airline reduce inventory storage costs and maintenance expenses.
