LATAM Brazil expands domestic network with Embraer E195‑E2 jets, adding four new cities
LATAM Airlines Brazil will incorporate up to 14 Embraer E195‑E2 aircraft between November 2026 and March 2027. The jets will be deployed on 42 domestic routes, creating four new base cities – Cabo Frio (RJ), Ji‑Paraná (RO), Macaé (RJ) and Rondonópolis (MT). This expansion raises LATAM’s domestic network to 67 destinations, the largest in its history.
New scheduled services include Guarulhos–Cabo Frio (four weekly flights from December 2026), Guarulhos–Ji‑Paraná (four weekly flights from December 2026), Guarulhos–Rondonópolis (seven weekly flights from December 2026) and Guarulhos–Macaé (three weekly flights from February 2027). Additional frequency increases are planned on existing routes such as Guarulhos–Palmas and Guarulhos–Cascavel. Ticket sales for the new routes began in early August 2026.
LATAM has ordered 24 E195‑E2 jets with options for up to 50 more, a deal valued at roughly US$2.1 billion. CEO Jerome Cadier indicated a possible second phase in 2027 that could add up to 18 further destinations as more aircraft are delivered.
