LATAM Airlines launches nonstop Brussels‑São Paulo route

LATAM Airlines Brazil inaugurated a nonstop service between Brussels Airport and São Paulo‑Guarulhos on 1‑2 June 2026, marking the first direct Brazil‑Belgium flight in more than 25 years. The route operates three times a week with Boeing 787‑9 aircraft configured for about 270 economy seats and 30 premium seats, with a flight time of roughly 12 hours. The inaugural flight carried 214 passengers and was fully booked. LATAM executives highlighted the strategic importance of Brussels as a political, economic and pharmaceutical hub and expect the link to boost both passenger traffic and cargo volumes, strengthening economic ties between Brazil and the EU.

The new connection adds Brussels as LATAM’s 27th European destination and positions the airline as the sole carrier offering nonstop service between the two countries.
