Aerolíneas Argentinas announces summer 2027 flight expansion

Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced its flight programming for the summer 2027 season, featuring significant expansions in both domestic and international markets. The airline expects to offer approximately 1.5 million seats in January, a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2026. This growth is driven by a 13% rise in domestic capacity and a 16% increase in regional operations.

Key international expansions include new routes to Cartagena, Colombia, and Curazao, starting in early January 2027. The airline is also strengthening its presence in Brazil with increased frequencies to Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, and a new Córdoba–Cabo Frío connection. In the domestic market, the airline will reinforce major tourist destinations such as Mar del Plata, Bariloche, Córdoba, and Ushuaia.

Additionally, JetSMART has reached an agreement with the El Calafate Tourist Accommodation Civil Association (ACATEC) to advance its operations to El Calafate starting September 15, adding five extra flights to boost local tourism and connectivity.
