Latin American designers showcase collections in New York

Latin American designers are bringing regional collections to major fashion platforms in New York.

Mexican designer Teté Rosado and her daughter Teté Ruiz will return to New York Fashion Week in September 2026 with their ‘Colección Aurelia’. The collection aims to blend contemporary elegance with Mexican artisanal roots. The presentation will feature Fernanda Palma Miramontes, Flor Tabasco 2025, as part of a tradition of including regional ambassadors in their international showcases.

In a separate development, Dominican creative director María Eugenia Jones will present her ‘VERSA, 501 – The After Five Collection’ at COTERIE New York. Developed in Santo Domingo, the collection focuses on versatility for the contemporary woman, inspired by urban architecture and the transition between different daily activities. The showcase serves as a commercial platform to connect Dominican design with international buyers.
