Latin American educational forums address leadership and inclusion

The XVII Latin American Education Forum, organized by Fundación Santillana and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), focused on the challenges of educational management. The event addressed the professionalization of school leadership and the need to build leadership capable of mobilizing educational communities amidst social and cultural changes.

In a related development regarding inclusive education, the ORITEL International Congress is hosting an encounter titled ‘Education From All Voices.’ Organized by ORITEL, the Organization of American States (OAS), and the Roosevelt Institute, the event aims to foster collective construction of inclusive education through horizontal dialogue. The meeting involves students with disabilities, teachers, and technical professionals, and is expected to conclude with the ‘Declaration of Colombia,’ a document capturing the perspectives and demands of students with disabilities and their families.
