Latin American entrepreneurship events announced in Ecuador and Chile

Ambato, Ecuador, will host the International Indo-American Startup Congress on October 28 and 29. Organized by Universidad Indoamérica and supported by the International Startup Association, the event aims to position Latin America within the global entrepreneurship and technological acceleration landscape. Key speakers include Tereza Cristina Dolan, president of MIT New York, and representatives from Mexico's Parque Tec and global industrial parks.

The congress will focus on trends such as agrotech, biotechnology, climatech, fintech, and generative artificial intelligence. It intends to facilitate connections between small and medium-sized enterprises and technological innovators through B2B business rounds, workshops, and conferences, allowing entrepreneurs to present ideas to international venture capital investors.

In Chile, the non-profit corporation Emprende tu Mente (EtM) has officially launched the countdown for EtMday 2026. The upcoming International Meeting of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Investment expects to convene over 60,000 people. The initiative seeks to bridge gaps between startups, large corporations, investors, academia, and the public sector to foster growth and investment opportunities.
