Latin American entrepreneurship training programs certify dozens of early‑stage ventures

A pre‑incubation academy in Iquique, Chile, backed by the national development agency Corfo, completed a three‑month program that certified 39 early‑stage entrepreneurs. Participants received training across 40 hours of theory and practice, covering sectors such as multimedia, gastronomy, solar energy and agricultural processing, and presented pitch projects at the program’s closing ceremony.

In Colombia, more than 30 former victims of the armed conflict finished a similar training focused on innovation, technology and commercial strategies. The course enabled participants to develop product identities, create branding and adopt digital tools, exemplified by a coffee‑farming family that launched its own brand. Both initiatives aim to strengthen sustainable business models and improve household incomes in their respective regions.
