Latin artists hold Miami benefit concert for earthquake relief

More than one hundred Latin artists gathered at the Kaseya Center in Miami for the ‘Unidos por los Nuestros’ international telethon to raise funds for earthquake victims in Venezuela and Colombia. The disaster has resulted in over 6,300 deaths in Venezuela and at least 294 in Colombia.

Led by figures such as Marc Anthony, Chayanne, Olga Tañón, Luis Fonsi, and Feid, the event drew an audience of over 15,000 people. The evening was opened by Don Francisco, who emphasized that “ante una tragedia tan grande, toda ayuda es bienvenida, hasta la más pequeña”.

Performances included a choral rendition of ‘Color esperanza’ by young Venezuelan artists, and surprise appearances by Camilo, Evaluna, and Yandel. Other participating artists included Gilberto Santa Rosa, Gente de Zona, and Mau y Ricky, among many others, all contributing to the humanitarian effort.
