Latvia expects rain and milder weather on Saturday

The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre forecasts rain across most of the country on Saturday, with brief thunderstorms possible, especially in the southern regions. Temperatures are set to rise, reaching around 20 °C in Riga and between 18 °C and 23 °C elsewhere. Light winds of up to 15 m/s will blow mainly from the north and north‑east, and fog may develop in some local areas.

Overall, the day will be cloud‑covered with intermittent showers, followed by clearer skies in the afternoon as temperatures continue to climb.
