Latvia weather forecast predicts rain and strong coastal winds

The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre forecasts rainy and windy conditions across Latvia for the upcoming weekend. Coastal areas are expected to experience significant wind gusts reaching speeds of 15 to 18 meters per second.

On Saturday, skies will be partly cloudy with occasional light rain. Temperatures are expected to range from +10 to +12 degrees Celsius at night to +16 to +18 degrees Celsius during the day. Sunday will be predominantly cloudy with rain expected throughout the country, including heavy showers in some areas. Coastal wind gusts on Sunday may reach 15 to 17 meters per second.

Temperatures for the following week are expected to remain stable, with daytime highs between +14 and +19 degrees Celsius. While the wind will subside early next week, intermittent rain is still anticipated.
