Latvia weather forecast predicts rainy work week

The upcoming work week in Latvia is expected to feature typical autumnal weather. According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, the week will begin with widespread rain as a precipitation zone moves in from the west.

Wind speeds are expected to reach gusts of 15 to 19 meters per second during the night in western and central regions. Temperatures will remain cool, with daytime highs ranging between +9 and +13 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures may drop to between +3 and +11 degrees Celsius depending on the region.

While precipitation is expected to decrease mid-week, new rain clouds are forecasted to cross the country starting Thursday. Fog is also expected on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, which may reduce visibility.
