Latvia weather forecast: transition to warmer, drier conditions

Latvia is expected to experience a transition in weather patterns following a period of rain and wind. The end of the current week will see cloudy skies and rain across much of the territory, with gusty winds reaching 15-18 m/s along the coast.

Starting Saturday and continuing into the first half of next week, an anticyclone will bring drier and sunnier conditions. Daytime temperatures are forecasted to rise by a few degrees, potentially reaching up to +20°C in some areas, such as Kurzeme. Overall, the upcoming week and potentially the second week of October are expected to be warmer and drier than usual, with temperatures staying two to three degrees above the norm.
