Laura Bozzo hospitalized in intensive care in Mexico City

Peruvian television presenter Laura Bozzo, 75, remains in the intensive care unit (ICU) at a hospital in Mexico City. She is currently intubated, sedated, and receiving respiratory assistance following medical complications.

The health crisis began in Acapulco, where Bozzo underwent emergency surgery for a perforated duodenal ulcer after experiencing severe abdominal pain. Following the procedure, her condition reportedly worsened due to complications including peritonitis, septic shock, pneumonia, and severe dehydration. She was subsequently transferred to the capital for specialized care.

Her medical status is described as “delicate but stable.” Her ex-partner, Argentine singer Cristian Zuárez, has stated he is in constant contact with her daughter, Alejandra de la Fuente, and has called on the public to join in prayers for her recovery. While various reports have circulated regarding the severity of her condition, her family and close associates indicate she is under constant monitoring.
