Laura Bozzo health crisis and legal dispute

Television presenter Laura Bozzo was hospitalized in Mexico City after suffering a perforated gastric ulcer, peritonitis, and severe dehydration. At 75 years old, she was placed in intensive care following a medical emergency.

Parallel to her health crisis, a legal dispute involving Bozzo and actor Gabriel Soto has drawn public attention. A judge previously ordered Bozzo to pay 2.5 million pesos in indemnity for moral damages resulting from comments made about Soto’s personal life. While Soto expressed personal forgiveness following Bozzo’s apologies, he noted that the collection of the court-ordered indemnity remains a matter for his legal team.

Regarding her medical status, Bozzo remains in the intensive care unit (ICU) in Mexico City. She is currently intubated, sedated, and receiving respiratory assistance. The crisis originated in Acapulco, where she underwent emergency surgery for a perforated duodenal ulcer. Her condition subsequently worsened due to complications including septic shock and pneumonia, necessitating her transfer to the capital for specialized care.

Her medical status is described as “delicate but stable.” Her ex-partner, Cristian Zuárez, stated he is in constant contact with her daughter, Alejandra de la Fuente, and has requested public prayers for her recovery. Her family and associates indicate she remains under constant monitoring.
