Lava Virat and Vivo T5 Lite 5G smartphones slated for Indian launch

Lava announced its upcoming Virat smartphone on Flipkart, describing it as a budget 5G device built for Indian users. The phone will ship with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras, a 6000 mAh battery, 18 W wired fast charging, IP64 dust‑ and water‑resistance, and Android 16. It runs on a Unisoc T8200 SoC and supports all Indian 5G bands.

Vivo is also preparing to launch its T5 Lite 5G in India via a Flipkart micro‑site. The handset is expected to carry a 6 500 mAh battery with 44 W FlashCharge, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or 6400 processor, a 6.74‑inch HD+ LCD panel with 120 Hz refresh, and a dual‑camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor and a 5 MP selfie lens. Storage options range from 4 GB/128 GB to 6 GB/256 GB. The device runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and may feature IP65 protection.
