Law and Justice unveils new agricultural program in Poland

The Law and Justice (PiS) party held a political convention in Zdanie to present its agricultural program ahead of next year’s parliamentary elections. Party leader Jarosław Kaczyński criticized the current government, claiming that Polish agriculture has been neglected and is facing an attack from external ideological forces.

Kaczyński characterized these influences as “leftism that turns the world upside down,” arguing that European ideologies often target conservative rural populations. He pledged that PiS would restore the strength of the Polish countryside and its contribution to the GDP.

Przemysław Czarnek, a PiS vice president and candidate for prime minister, announced plans to implement a major deregulation law during the first session of a new government. The proposed plan aims to support animal production and encourage young people to remain in farming to ensure the future of the sector.
