Carabineros de Coquimbo released its 2025 management report, detailing a significant increase in police activity and enforcement within the Chilean region.

Total procedures rose by 12.7% compared to the previous year, reaching 809,431. The report also noted a 4.1% increase in apprehensions, with 16,287 individuals detained. In terms of weapons and narcotics, authorities seized 133 firearms, 499 bladed weapons, and over 8.5 tons of illicit substances, including marijuana and cocaine derivatives.

Regarding vehicle theft, police successfully recovered 812 out of 995 vehicles reported stolen during the period. The institution also highlighted its community integration efforts, conducting nearly 7,000 community actions through its integration model.
