Lazio defeats Arezzo 2-0 in friendly match at Formello

Lazio defeated Arezzo 2-0 in a closed-door friendly match held at the Formello training center. The victory served as a preparation tool for manager Rino Gattuso during the international break, allowing him to evaluate players not currently on national team duty.

Lazio secured an early lead within the first minute of play when Andrea Pinamonti scored following an assist from Tijjani Noslin. The second goal arrived at the start of the second half, with Diogo Leite scoring a header from a corner kick. Despite missing several key players due to international call-ups and injuries, Lazio maintained control of the match.

Goalkeeper Edoardo Motta provided several crucial saves during the first half to maintain the clean sheet. Following the match, Gattuso praised the squad's work ethic and positive atmosphere. Lazio is scheduled to face Juve Stabia in another test match this coming Saturday.
