Lazio manager Gattuso discusses squad decisions and Monza preview

Ahead of the match against Monza, Lazio manager Gennaro Gattuso addressed several squad matters during a press conference. A primary focus was the status of Luca Pellegrini, who has been excluded from the Serie A squad list. Gattuso described the situation as a “corporate matter” and noted that while the club knows his stance, the final decision rests with the management. He emphasized that Pellegrini remains a professional who continues to train with the team.

Gattuso also discussed midfielder Davide Frattesi, reflecting on their relationship and the player's decision to join the club. Additionally, winger Gustav Isaksen expressed his ambitions for the season, specifically his desire to score in the Derby della Capitale against Roma, while praising the aggressive mentality Gattuso has instilled in the squad.

Regarding team preparation, Gattuso noted that the squad is ready following the international break, highlighting the return of national team players and the need to maintain intensity against a young and energetic Monza side.
