Lazio regional beauty pageants select Miss Italia and Next Candidate winners

Eighteen‑year‑old model Nicole Sgarra from Cerveteri won the “Next Candidate Lazio 2026” title at a regional final in Colleferro. The award, aimed at contestants who will be under 19 by the end of 2026, gives her a place in the Lazio regional finals scheduled for 2027, moving her closer to the Miss Universe circuit.

In a separate event of the “Lazio, la Bellezza del Talento” tour, 22‑year‑old Cristina Virga, a Roman from Monteverde, captured the Miss Roma 2026 crown in Zagarolo, while Giulia Colace finished as runner‑up. The competition, part of the regional Miss Italia 2026 series, combined fashion shows, local cultural promotion and participation from the community, with the winners advancing to the national Miss Italia pre‑finals.
