Overview

The 2026 Italian beauty pageant circuit continued its rapid rollout after the early‑June Miss Mondo Italia launch in Gallipoli and a series of regional Miss Italia selections. Following the Umbria Miss Grand International finale on 7 July and the debut of Miss Universo Marche in Ancona, the schedule moved to Lazio. On 17 July the Miss Framesi Lazio regional final took place in the Castelli Romani area, with runway presentations at Palazzo Colonna in Marino and at the Teatro delle Acque in Villa Torlonia, Frascati. On 22 July the Miss Italia Calabria competition in Corigliano‑Rossano showcased fifteen contestants in a 1990s‑themed program, with Luana Barberio of San Giovanni in Fiore winning Miss Città di Corigliano‑Rossano 2026 and advancing to the regional finals in Trebisacce. The same day, Livorno held the Miss Livorno 2026 final on the Terrazza Mascagni; thirty finalists competed under the long‑running Cronosax organisation, continuing a 36‑year tradition. Further regional contests unfolded on 26 July: Federica Iacobucci was crowned Miss Sorriso Molise 2026 in Montecilfone, while Caterina Porsia, a 20‑year‑old chemistry student, won the first Miss Italia regional selection in Scanzano Jonico, Basilicata. On 31 July, Anna Corazza, 21, was crowned Miss Universe Friuli Venezia Giulia 2026 in San Daniele and will join Melissa Mongelli and Francesca Portelli at the Miss Universe Italy national competition scheduled for 24–30 August in San Ferdinando, Puglia, with the international final set for Puerto Rico in November.
