Lazio Regional Council hosts Dutch public administration delegation

The Lazio Regional Council in Rome hosted a delegation of 25 young Dutch public administration officials and executives. The group includes representatives from major Dutch institutions, such as the Court of Audit, the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Council of State, and the National Ombudsman's Office.

Led by Sven Alkemade, President of the YoHoCo association, the delegation requested the visit through Lazio Regional Ombudsman Marino Fardelli. The meeting focused on sharing experiences regarding active citizenship, the right of access, administrative transparency, and the protection of citizens' rights in relation to public administration.

Discussions also addressed modern challenges, including the digitalization of public services, the implementation of artificial intelligence, and the protection of fundamental rights.
