Lazio regional administrative and agricultural developments

Overview

In early October 2026, agricultural leaders from Confeuro and Accademia Iniziativa Comune met with Lazio regional councilor Daniele Leodori in Rome. The discussions centered on the health of the primary sector, the need for generational renewal, and encouraging youth entrepreneurship within the Lazio countryside, specifically addressing the provinces of Rome, Frosinone, Viterbo, Rieti, and Latina. Topics also included labor integration, migration policies, and vocational training.

Later in the month, the Lazio Regional Council hosted a delegation of 25 Dutch public administration officials and executives. Led by Sven Alkemade of the YoHoCo association, the group engaged in discussions regarding administrative transparency, active citizenship, and the protection of citizens' rights. The meeting also covered the digitalization of public services and the implementation of artificial intelligence.
