Seine-Maritime police seize cannabis, cocaine, cash and firearms in large drug bust

On 29 June 2026, police and gendarmerie in the Seine‑Maritime department conducted a coordinated operation targeting a drug‑trafficking network centred on the Clairval neighbourhood of Lillebonne. Thirteen people were placed in custody and may be held in police custody for up to 96 hours.

Searches yielded around 400 g of cannabis, 100 g of cocaine, more than €2 500 in cash and two handguns. The investigation is part of the local crime‑treatment group (GLTD) "Clairval", launched in March 2026 to address persistent drug trafficking and public‑order issues in the area and its surrounding districts of Le Havre and Eure.

The prosecutor, Soizic Guillaume, emphasized that the operation aims to disrupt the network’s supply chains and improve security for residents of the neighbourhood.
