Lebanese Army Soldier Killed After Suspicious Device Explodes in South Lebanon

The Lebanese army announced that a soldier was killed and an officer and another soldier were wounded when a suspicious device detonated in a military vehicle in the town of al‑Mansouri, southern Lebanon. Israeli forces said the vehicle passed over an explosive device that was not theirs and suspected Hezbollah of planting it, adding that no Israeli troops were present in the area at the time.
