Lecco celebrates ten years of L’Acqua fa Scuola educational project

The educational project ‘L’Acqua fa Scuola’ is celebrating its tenth anniversary during the 2026/2027 school year. Promoted by the Ufficio d’Ambito di Lecco and Lario Reti Holding, the initiative focuses on teaching students about water, the environment, and resource responsibility.

Central celebrations are scheduled for April 21, 2027, in Lecco, though activities will extend throughout the province. Planned events include animated readings at 27 local libraries and yoga lessons for primary and secondary schools. For high school students, the Cineteatro Palladium will host ‘Tutto scorre,’ a performance by Lorenzo Palla featuring live music by Tiziano Cannas Aghedu.

The tenth edition introduces new technological elements, including ‘Mini Ecco,’ an artificial intelligence tool designed to assist students in creating entries for the project’s competition. The anniversary also marks ten years since Lario Reti Holding assumed management of the province's integrated water service.
