Educational developments in Lecco
Overview
The Lecco region is seeing various developments in its educational sector. The ‘L’Acqua fa Scuola’ project, an initiative focused on teaching students about water and environmental responsibility, is marking its tenth anniversary during the 2026/2027 school year. This anniversary includes activities such as library readings, yoga lessons, and theatrical performances, as well as the introduction of ‘Mini Ecco,’ an artificial intelligence tool for student competitions.
Separately, the Archimede municipal nursery school has officially reopened in a new location at the Santo Stefano state kindergarten complex. This relocation follows a fire that occurred at the school’s previous Bonacina district site in June 2026. The move has established an integrated educational hub for children aged 0 to 6, intended to maintain continuity for students and families.
