LEDVANCE celebrates 10 years as an independent brand

LEDVANCE is celebrating its 10th anniversary as an independent brand, marking a decade of growth and evolution across North America. Since carving out from OSRAM in 2016, the company has transitioned from a traditional lighting manufacturer into a comprehensive solutions provider.

The company’s portfolio now includes commercial and residential lighting, connected systems, outdoor and retrofit technologies, controls, drivers, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure via its PHASE EV platform. LEDVANCE builds on the historical legacy of the Sylvania brand, which dates back to 1901.

In the United States, LEDVANCE recently received recognition from the Illuminating Engineering Society’s 2026 Progress Report for the third consecutive year. Seven of its products, including new hazardous location luminaires and high-temperature high bay luminaires, were highlighted for industry advancement.
