LEDVANCE lighting technology and market expansion

Overview

LEDVANCE has expanded its product offerings and market presence through new technological developments and a decade of growth in North America.

Initially, the company introduced the XtremeZone Panel Hazardous Location luminaire, a certified unit designed for industrial and food equipment environments. Concurrently, Lumitec announced updates to its Poco Digital Lighting Control system to enhance channel capacity and communication for maritime vessels.

Marking its 10th anniversary as an independent brand since carving out from OSRAM in 2016, LEDVANCE has transitioned from a traditional manufacturer into a solutions provider. Its current portfolio incorporates commercial, residential, and connected systems, as well as outdoor and retrofit technologies, controls, drivers, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure via its PHASE EV platform. The company also builds upon the historical legacy of the Sylvania brand, which dates back to 1901.

In the United States, LEDVANCE has received recognition from the Illuminating Engineering Society’s 2026 Progress Report for the third consecutive year. Seven of its products, including new hazardous location luminaires and high-temperature high bay luminaires, were highlighted for industry advancement.
