Tarik Muharemović attracts Premier League interest after Leeds award

Leeds United defender Tarik Muharemović has been voted the club’s ‘Hero of the Month’ for September, marking his second consecutive monthly award. The 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international secured 74 percent of the fan vote.

Muharemović’s strong performances in the Premier League and EFL Cup have drawn significant transfer interest. Reports suggest that major clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal, are monitoring the center-back. While Leeds United holds a five-year contract with the player running until 2031, some analysts suggest a high-value transfer could be possible by the end of the season if the club fails to reach European competitions.

During September, Muharemović appeared in four matches, recording 36 defensive interventions, including eight interceptions and 24 clearances. He also contributed a goal against Chelsea in the EFL Cup and an assist in a victory over Newcastle United.
