Lega party attacks Riccione administration over port redevelopment

The Lega party has launched a political attack against Mayor Daniela Angelini’s administration in Riccione, describing the local government as “practically paralyzed on everything.” The criticism follows internal dissent regarding a project financing tender for the redevelopment of the Riccione port, which is linked to beach concessions.

Elena Raffaelli, the provincial secretary of Lega Rimini, and Andrea Bedina, the Lega group leader in the Riccione city council, issued a statement claiming the coalition is fragile and at a breaking point. They highlighted that Councilor Marina Zoffoli, part of the majority, refused to vote for the port measure. The Lega representatives accused the Mayor and her assessors of clinging to their positions despite project failures and internal crises, suggesting that the city's residents are the ones ultimately paying the price.
