Serie C disciplinary rulings: Ibe suspended and clubs fined

The Lega Pro sporting judge has issued several disciplinary sanctions following the fifth round of Serie C Group C matches.

Giugliano striker Ibe Chinaecherem received a three-match suspension for violent conduct after striking an opponent in the neck with an elbow. This suspension will force him to miss the upcoming match against Salernitana. Additionally, Cosenza coach Danilo Polito has been handed a two-match ban for making disrespectful remarks toward the officiating crew during a VAR check.

Several clubs faced financial penalties due to supporter behavior and safety violations. Barletta was fined 1,200 euros after fans threw a smoke bomb and various objects toward the officials. Casertana received a 400-euro fine for a fan throwing a water bottle onto the pitch, and Crotone was fined 200 euros for offensive chanting directed at law enforcement. Other individual suspensions include Edoardo Masciangelo of Catania, Filippo Groppelli of Crotone, and Theophilus Awua of Cavese.
