Legal and gender justice initiatives launched in Argentina
The Justice Access Center (CAJ), an entity under the National Ministry of Justice, will begin providing territorial assistance in the San Benito neighborhood of Río Gallegos. Starting in November, services will be available every Friday at the CENIN 7 facilities. The initiative, coordinated with the Municipality of Río Gallegos, aims to provide free guidance on judicial procedures, personal documentation, and assistance with agencies such as ANSES, PAMI, and Migraciones. The center also offers legal orientation regarding family, housing, and labor issues, while facilitating referrals for free legal representation and mediation.
In Santa Fe, the Gender Office of the Judiciary is conducting a working session in Rafaela to strengthen institutional coordination and integrate gender perspectives into judicial processes. The event involves members of the judiciary, public officials, and representatives from security, health, and education sectors. The goal is to improve communication and strategic responses to gender-based violence and to promote gender-sensitive adjudication within the regional judicial system.
