Legal complaints filed against public officials in Serbia and Montenegro
In Serbia, Dragan Domazet, the chief commissioner of the ASNS union, has filed a complaint against Milica Lakićević, the director of the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (RF PIO) branch in Bor. The complaint alleges that Lakićević used official email addresses to collect “capillary votes” for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and organized political activities during working hours. The allegations include sending instructions and tables featuring SNS branding to employees, requesting data on “secure votes.” Domazet argues these actions violate labor discipline, the Law on State Administration, and the Code of Business Ethics, calling for an urgent disciplinary commission.
In Montenegro, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) has filed a criminal complaint against the management board and director Aleksandar Božović of the Nikšić Landfill. The complaint, submitted to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office, alleges irregularities regarding Božović's appointment. DPS officials claim Božović was appointed without meeting the statutory requirement of five years of management experience and that the job competition criteria were modified to bypass these requirements. The party is calling for the prosecution to investigate the appointment process and the role of the mayor in the matter.
