In separate criminal developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a former Orthodox priest, G. T., was arrested in Bijeljina as part of the “Karika” police operation. He is suspected of using social media to arrange meetings with minors and faces charges including child exploitation for pornography and the use of computer networks to commit sexual abuse. The Basic Court in Bijeljina has ordered one month of detention to prevent the destruction of evidence.

Additionally, in Banjaluka, a man identified as J. M. was arrested in the “Dug” operation. He is suspected of usury and extortion after allegedly lending 4,000 KM and subsequently demanding 20,000 KM through threats to the victim's life.
