Legal professionals in Spain discuss AI and digital transformation
Legal and technological experts in Spain are convening to discuss the integration of artificial intelligence and digital tools within the judicial system. At the DATAfórum Justicia 2026 in A Coruña, representatives from the Spanish Procurators Council emphasized the importance of modernizing the justice system to improve efficiency and accessibility.
During the forum, the Secretary of State for Justice, Manuel Olmedo, noted that while AI presents significant opportunities for administrative efficiency, these technologies must remain under human supervision to ensure responsible use.
In Zaragoza, the Royal and Illustrious Bar Association (ReICAZ) launched a series of sessions focused on practical AI applications for legal practice. Lefebvre presented its generative AI solution, GenIA-L, highlighting that reliable legal AI requires high-quality legal sources combined with professional human judgment to interpret and validate results.
