Legend of Zelda merchandise expansions announced for Japan
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, several new merchandise lines have been announced for release in Japan in October 2026.
Takara Tomy will release an expanded Historical Charms+ set via gachapon machines. The collection features Triforce-shaped collectibles commemorating 12 different games in the franchise, doubling the number of titles included in the original 2017 set. Each pull is expected to cost approximately ¥300.
Additionally, Nintendo is collaborating with the retailer Animate to launch a massive collection of roughly 70 different products. This range includes items such as acrylic stands, posters, eye masks, slippers, and nail art. Currently, there is no confirmation regarding whether these specific product lines will be released in international markets.
