The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary merchandise

Overview

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of ‘The Legend of Zelda’ franchise, several new merchandise lines have been announced for release in Japan in October 2026.

Takara Tomy Arts will release an expanded ‘The Legend of Zelda Historical Charm+’ capsule toy collection. This set features 12 varieties of die-cast mascot charms shaped like the Triforce, doubling the size of the previous collection. The designs incorporate motifs from various titles, including ‘Echoes of Wisdom’, ‘Tears of the Kingdom’, ‘Breath of the Wild’, ‘Ocarina of Time’, and the original game. These zinc alloy and epoxy resin charms are priced at 300 yen each.

In addition to the capsule toys, Nintendo is collaborating with the retailer Animate to launch a large collection of approximately 70 different products. This range includes items such as acrylic stands, posters, eye masks, slippers, and nail art. It remains unconfirmed if these product lines will be available in international markets.
