LEGO and Sony to launch PlayStation‑1 LEGO set with Astro Bot GWP

LEGO and Sony are set to unveil a LEGO replica of the original PlayStation‑1 console, scheduled for release on 1 October 2026. The set will contain 1,911 pieces, including a detailed console model and a controller, and is priced at about €159.99 in Europe and roughly US $160 in the United States.

A special Astro Bot figure, the current PlayStation mascot, will be offered as a free "gift with purchase" exclusively to customers who buy the PlayStation‑1 set at launch. The promotion is expected to be limited in time and quantity, following LEGO’s past practice of bundling exclusive items with major releases. The collaboration follows LEGO’s earlier console‑themed sets for NES, Atari 2600, Game Boy and Sega Genesis.
