LEGO announces official collaboration with Daft Punk
The LEGO Group has officially announced a collaboration with the electronic music duo Daft Punk. The partnership will launch with a new set from the LEGO Ideas program, which recreates the iconic pyramid stage from the duo’s Alive 2007 world tour.
The set was originally designed by fan Patrick Harboun and his son, who submitted the model to the ‘Music to Our Ears’ challenge. After gaining 10,000 supporters on the LEGO Ideas platform, the project moved into industrial development. The set will include building elements for the illuminated pyramid and two exclusive collector figures representing Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in their signature robotic helmets.
The announcement was accompanied by a short film featuring LEGO versions of the duo set to tracks from the albums ‘Discovery’ and ‘Human After All’. This collaboration is part of a long-term strategy to integrate music and pop culture into the LEGO universe, with further products and brand experiences expected to arrive in 2027.
