LEGO Harry Potter celebrates 25 years in new Blocks Magazine

Blocks Magazine Issue 144 is set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the LEGO Harry Potter theme. The upcoming issue provides a retrospective on how the LEGO Group collaborated with publishers to bring the Wizarding World to life, noting that discussions began even before the film franchise was established.

In addition to the Harry Potter history, the magazine features an interview with professional LEGO designer Boone Langston, detailing his transition from a fan and content creator to a designer for the company. The issue also explores the lore of the Bionicle theme, which debuted in the same year as Harry Potter in 2001.

Other content includes a review of the Ministry of Magic Collectors’ Edition set and insights into the development of early models.
