LEGO launches 3,491-piece Harry Potter Ministry of Magic set for 25th anniversary

LEGO is marking the 25th anniversary of its Harry Potter line with a new Ministry of Magic Collector’s Edition. The set contains 3,491 pieces and measures about 51 cm tall, featuring three tiers that include a replica of the Leaky Cauldron pub, a red telephone box, multi‑story office levels, the Hall of Prophecy and the magical Veil. Fourteen minifigures are included, among them the franchise’s first Arabella Figg figure and Kingsley Shacklebolt with his Lynx Patronus.

The set becomes available to LEGO Insiders on 29 August and will be released more widely on 1 September, coinciding with the annual Back to Hogwarts Day. Pricing is set at $449.99 (≈ £389.99 or €429.99). The model is aimed at adult builders, offering detailed interior features such as a working toilet, collapsible shelves in the Hall of Prophecy and a recreation of the Dumbledore‑Voldemort duel.
